Hi! I’m Ash (she/her), the founder and florist behind In The Meadow Floral Design.
I’ve lived in the North West of England my entire life, nestled between the rugged Morecambe Bay coastline and the stunning Lake District mountains.
I’ve always been a creative soul, especially when it comes to making things with my hands — crochet, knitting, pottery, sewing… if it involves a bit of mess and a strong cup of tea, I’m in.
My passion for creativity led me to study Art and Design at Kendal College. After exploring several creative paths and spending time teaching, I retrained as a florist. In the summer of 2023, In The Meadow was born, and it has been the most joyful, rewarding adventure — designing flowers and working with wonderful couples ever since.

Our work is about more than just pretty flowers — it’s about wild beauty, natural rhythm, and designs that feel alive with the seasons, imperfectly perfect and full of character. Each arrangement is shaped by our community — the growers who nurture the blooms and the couples who inspire them — and celebrates the quiet magic of flowers gathered at their peak.
Our style is that just-picked, whimsical look — relaxed, romantic, and full of gorgeous British-grown flowers, thanks to the incredible local flower farmers we’re proud to support. Everything we create is rooted in our eco-conscious ethos: no floral foam, no single-use plastic — just sustainable flowers arranged with reusable mechanics, a mindful approach, and a whole heap of love.
